Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 June 2026
At wevo we care about you feeling safe when you get in touch with us. This policy explains which personal data we collect, why we do it, how long we store it and what rights you have. We never collect more than what you choose to provide yourself.
1. Data controller
wevo (wevo.no) is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website. If you have questions about privacy, or wish to exercise your rights, you can contact us at hei@wevo.no.
The company registration number will be added here once the company is registered.
2. What information we collect
We only process the information you give us yourself:
- The analysis tool: the email address and the web address (URL) you provide in order to get an analysis of your website.
- The contact form: name, company, email address and the project details you write in your message.
We do not collect more than you provide yourself, and we never ask for sensitive personal data.
3. Why we process the information (purpose and legal basis)
We process the information in order to respond to your enquiry and to give you an analysis or a quote. In other words, we only use it to follow up on the contact you have initiated yourself.
Our legal basis for processing is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and offering our services, cf. the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 6.
4. Storage and deletion
We store your information for as long as it is necessary to follow up on your enquiry and any further dialogue. After that we delete it.
You can at any time ask for your enquiry to be deleted by sending an email to hei@wevo.no, and we will then remove your information.
5. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your information, and we do not share it unnecessarily. To deliver our services we use a few trusted subprocessors:
- Email is sent via an email provider (for example Resend) that processes the content on our behalf.
- The analysis tool uses Google PageSpeed Insights to measure the website you provide. The web address you have entered is then sent to this service to retrieve performance data.
Beyond this we do not share your information with anyone else.
6. Cookies
The website does not use tracking cookies or third-party marketing cookies. We only use what is necessary for the site to function, and we do not follow you across websites.
7. Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- access the information we hold about you,
- have incorrect information corrected,
- have your information deleted,
- data portability (to receive a copy of your information),
- withdraw a consent you have given,
- complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you believe we are processing your information incorrectly.
If you wish to exercise your rights, get in touch at hei@wevo.no, and we will help you.
8. Changes
We may update this privacy policy, for example if our services or the regulations change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
